Welcome to the River Arts District (RAD) —a vibrant community of over 700 artists, collectives, and galleries. We are excited to announce that the Upper River Arts District is now open for visitors! Explore galleries, studios, unique art spaces, and even sign-up for classes.
As the River Arts District continues to rebuild after the unprecedented damage due to Hurricane Helene, please either come visit us in the Upper RAD or our Outpost in Downtown Asheville. Help be a part of our comeback!

The Upper RAD is now open and includes all of Roberts Street, Artful Way, Depot Street, and Clingman Avenue. You can also visit us in our newly opened downtown RADA Outpost at 24 N Lexington.
