Portrait Painting with Lorelle Bacon

On day one, students will follow along as Portrait Artist Lorelle Bacon walks you through how to paint a realistic portrait of a child. You will learn about mixing skin colors, creating realistic looking hair easily and how to go about painting a portrait using Lorelle’s techniques.

On day two, students will learn how to incorporate everything learned on the first day, and paint an impressionistic portrait! You will have handouts to take home with you to refer to for future works. Bring a lunch for the first day, and a pen and paper for notetaking.
