While trained as a painter, ceramic art is now my preferred medium. Hand-painted ceramic wall pieces comprise most of my work, although I also hand paint mugs, bowls, and platters. I also enjoy creating raku pieces. My subject matter almost always comes from our natural environment, and especially involves birds, cats, dogs, bears, trees, and other elements of our natural world.
