My exploration for color and texture has led me to work with encaustics primarily. Painting with beeswax and dry pigments and its endless possibilities takes me to a world of alchemy, I combine these elements to extract images from nature as well as the imaginary corners of my mind. I grew up close to the sea and the mountains and I'm incredibly attracted to movement and color, so I believe through my art is where I can put it all together and through my hands bring it out.
I am a self taught artist currently living in WNC with my partner and kitties where I enjoy nature as a source of inspiration and find solace in my beautiful studio.
