Just as my art leaves itself open to the viewer's interpretation, so do I resist giving too many words toward explaining art or myself.

My art is just the doing. It's up to the viewer to interpret, or even to say it's art or not art. That's not my job. My job is to do it and hopefully like doing it.

In the general sense, art is like going to school, doing dishes, plowing the field. It's just the doing. It becomes art when someone calls it art, period. It has nothing to do with color, hue, value shift, composition Those may or may not be involved to that one person who looks at it and says, "Wow."
