Florals and Flutterbies Collage Class w/ Li Newton

Butterflies and Flowers! Oh my!
Goals:
-Have fun.
-Learn basic analog (cut by hand) paper collage techniques.
-Learn how to transfer a photo onto a surface.
-Basic cutting and gluing, building layers to create depth.
-Complete a finished or near finished floral collage with or without butterflies or your favorite pollinator.

I provide wood panels, gel medium/glue, scissors, pencils, tape and some paper/images.
You provide images of favorite flowers, colorful papers to make your own flowers, images to inspire your pollinators. Also bring beverage and lunch.

You don’t have to be “good at drawing” to make a great collage!

Bring Friends or Siblings — You earn a $10 credit for Trackside Studios for each student you bring who registers and attends.
