Second Saturday Art Stroll Weaving Demo

See the loom in action and learn about the weaving process in the Big Room Studios at Pink Dog Creative with Emelie Weber Wade of Lunadendron. Emelie will be weaving scarves on an 8-shaft loom from 11-5 during August’s Second Saturday Art Stroll. A selection of handwoven fashion and art will be available, with custom orders ahead of the holidays welcome.
Emelie’s newest handwoven dress, “Persephone,” will be unveiled in her studio during Second Saturday Art Stroll in conjunction with RADA’s yearly theme, “Who Am I? Who Are We?” August’s prompt within the yearly theme is “Expanding Horizons.” The cocktail dress expands the horizons of her style and narrative approach to dressmaking. Be one of the first to see “Persephone” on Saturday, August 10th before it exhibits in two upcoming shows.
