IN THE WAKE OF HELENE, THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD AT ANOTHER LOCATION (TBD).
Have you always wanted to learn how to paint with acrylics? Join us for this new workshop, designed for the beginner – as well as those wanting to hone their skills.
Guest artist Tania Dirks will take you step by step into the painting of a dynamic smokey mountain sunset landscape. Instruction on creating a composition full of light and visual space are guaranteed! Tania will share her knowledge of acrylic paint and color while giving you options to make the landscape your very own. From deciding whether you want a vertical or horizontal piece to how vibrant how different the sky colors transition and the overall mood and amount of cloud. Clouds, Mountain ranges and treeline will also be completely up to you, as the artist. Even how thick and gestural you use the paint brush stokes to be will be part of your expression and interpretation of the inspiration piece.
Don’t worry Tania will be there the whole way helping you along!
All art tools & materials you’ll need for this landscape will be provided with this class, including a 11”x14”” pre-prepped with gesso canvas .
All you need to bring is beverage and snack and your art clothes or borrow an apron from us .
No experience is needed.
A starter set of acrylic paints by Liquitex will be included with your registration, so that you may continue practicing, between and beyond the series sessions.
